The special feature of the PEAK 1983 Scale Loupe is the extremely large field of view and measuring area in relation to the 10x magnification. The achromatic optical system consists of four lenses subdivided into two groups providing distortion free colour corrected viewing. A measuring graticule scale with 0.1mm graduations and 30mm length is included and maybe easily removed and replaced. The scales are placed on the area to be measured for precise measurement.
The Peak 1983 Measuring magnifier has a smooth focusing ring for manual adjustment to ensure a clear image.
Sixteen different black graticule scales and fifteen white scales are also available with inch, metric and special graduations for measurement of small parts, angles, holes, diameters, thread size, etc. and maybe ordered at the same time or later. The standard scale is included and is easily removed by unscrewing the retaining ring.
This lens in this magnifier is coated to prevent reflection. Also available with illumination unit (search for 2028). Made in Japan.
